Will Google ban torrent sites

No. Not anytime. The torrent sites won’t be ban from neither google chrome nor from Google Search.

Here’s why — Google hates competition. They have a kind of monopoly on search and also on browser. More than 70 percent of people use Google as their default search engine and almost same number of people prefer Chrome as their default browser.

Now, if the google banned all the torrent sites say from it’s browser then of-course people will shift towards Firefox, Edge and other alternatives.

Same with the search as well. Torrent is one of the most searched item on Google. If google bans torrent search then torrent user will move towards bing or other alternatives.

And, This is what google does not like. They want people to stay at Google no matter what. If google ban torrent sites, they will have to face more loss than what pirated contents creators faces combined.
