There’s an estimated 1.3 million people, around the world, that die because of road accidents each year.[1]
You’re probably a good driver, who’s always observant and careful on the streets, but not everyone is. Think of your craziest friend. Would you seriously trust them behind the wheel?
I thought not.
Safety should be everyone’s number one priority, when they’re behind the wheel and driving. Which is why it’s imperative that car companies continue to add safety features into cars, and why drivers should augment them into their lives.
Take Tesla Autopilot.
Is it a perfect system?
No.
Are you going to be driving a Tesla?
Probably not.
However, enhanced driving systems like Autopilot can often times work far better than humans. Computers (when equipped with cameras and proper programming) are quicker and more observant than human drivers.
Even the most simple safety features, like airbags, can make a big difference.
Imagine you’re driving your kid to school in an old, unsafe vehicle. Would you seriously sacrifice their safety, if you had the capability of driving a safer car?
I thought not.
Please. If you can drive safely, but it’s not bad to buy a safe car for yourself and your family.
